“Mudders’ Milk”

Dedicated to the mudworkers of planet Canton, who persevere in great hardship and who know the value of a refreshing and yet full-bodied brew.

6.6 lbs Pilsen light LME

4 oz black patent malt

18 oz rolled oats

1 oz Fuggles

1 oz Cascade

Nottingham dry ale yeast

Toast oats in 300 °F oven for 10 min.

Steep black patent and oats at 150 °F for 30 min.

Boil:

60 min: LME, Fuggles

1 min: Cascade

Ferment and bottle as normal.

Serves opaque light brown. Yum!
